The news that moves business aviation

BizJet Journal covers material developments across the business-aviation ecosystem: aircraft orders and deliveries; operator and fleet changes; mergers, acquisitions and investment; executive appointments; product launches; regulation; airports and FBOs; sustainability; technology; and safety events. The page is a durable news hub, not a claim that every item is breaking news.

Our core news desks

  • Companies & transactions: sales, acquisitions, financing, partnerships, restructurings and earnings.
  • Aircraft & orders: launches, certification, deliveries, cancellations, fleet commitments and program changes.
  • People: chief executive, board and senior operational leadership appointments or departures.
  • Safety: accidents, incidents, preliminary findings, final reports and safety recommendations.
  • Regulation & policy: rules, enforcement, taxes, access restrictions and international operating requirements.
  • Infrastructure & technology: airports, FBOs, MROs, software, connectivity, avionics and cybersecurity.

How we report accidents and incidents

Early information is often incomplete. We distinguish confirmed facts from witness accounts, identify the investigating authority, link to official releases and label preliminary findings as preliminary. We do not speculate about cause, publish graphic material for attention or treat the absence of a public detail as evidence. Stories are updated when authorities issue material new information, and corrections remain transparent.

Independence and corrections

Press releases can be useful primary claims, but they are not independent verification. Financial figures, fleet counts, orders and leadership changes should be checked against company filings, regulators or direct confirmation where possible. Sponsored content must be clearly labeled and separated from newsroom judgment. Every news story should carry a publication time, update time, author, source trail and correction route.
