Where, when & organizer

Port Hercule’s superyacht show combines professional meetings, yacht appointments and Riviera airport planning.

Hosted in
Monaco, Monaco
Usual timing
Usually September
Organized by
Monaco Yacht Show / Informa

Book yacht appointments by name and berth. A show pass or Nice–Monaco helicopter seat does not guarantee yacht access.

Check the organizer’s current program before committing to tickets or travel. Airport comparisons here describe the listed host or representative itinerary; rotating events require the actual edition’s venue.

Nearest airport options

Airport options to compare with your operating team
AirportIATA / ICAOPlanning role
Nice Côte d’AzurNCE / LFMNPrincipal international gateway with business aviation handling
Cannes–MandelieuCEQ / LFMDAlternative for suitable aircraft; check aircraft weight and operating conditions

Proximity does not establish aircraft suitability or permission to arrive. Your operator should assess the aircraft, payload, current procedures, border clearance and available handling at the selected gateway.

Ground & helicopter transfers

The final journey

Choose a road transfer from Nice or an onward flight to Monaco Heliport. The port, hillside hotels and circuit entrances have different arrival points; give your driver the actual entrance address.

Can you arrive by helicopter?

Nice–Monaco helicopter services are established. Confirm baggage weight, check-in, weather limits and the heliport-to-hotel leg. A helicopter ticket does not give yacht or circuit access.

Airport slots, parking & operating constraints

Nice operates airport coordination; a landing slot and permission to park are separate arrangements. Cannes accommodates aircraft up to 35 tonnes subject to operating requirements. Ask the handler about the event-period parking plan and any repositioning.

Track the accepted airport schedule, handling, aircraft parking and any permits separately. Ask whether the aircraft will stay or reposition, and check the current AIP, supplements and NOTAMs with the operating team. A venue ticket or FBO booking is not an air-traffic clearance.

Admission & event fees

Visitor passes and invitation-only access differ; boarding a yacht requires the exhibitor’s separate approval.

Use the official organizer’s current sales information for published ticket prices and access conditions. Where no current public tariff is verified, request a direct quote rather than relying on a guessed fee. Hospitality, invitations and ticket availability can change between editions.

Request an itemized aviation quote covering handling, parking, permits, fuel, repositioning and any event charges. Budget separately for hotels, drivers, helicopter connections and admission unless the contract explicitly includes them.

How to plan your trip

  1. Secure the right access. Confirm the actual year, venue, session and admission or invitation before fixing travel.
  2. Choose a workable arrival. Compare a primary airport and an approved alternative with the operating team, including weather, aircraft suitability and the final transfer.
  3. Reserve the aircraft stay. Obtain handling, parking and accepted arrival/departure arrangements. Record any repositioning and its cost.
  4. Connect the last mile. Book the correct vehicle, venue entrance and any authorized helicopter leg, with luggage and a ground fallback.
  5. Reconcile the itinerary. Check passenger documents, local dates, baggage, crew duty, return pickup and the contact authorized to approve changes.
