Distinguish Western and Orthodox dates where relevant and verify the selected resort’s actual operating season.

Check the organizer’s current program before committing to tickets or travel. Airport comparisons here describe the listed host or representative itinerary; rotating events require the actual edition’s venue.

Airport planning by host city

Representative gateways — select the actual host city first
AirportIATA / ICAOPlanning role
Paris–Le BourgetLBG / LFPBExample European business aviation gateway
Van NuysVNY / KVNYExample Los Angeles gateway
Dubai World CentralDWC / OMDWExample Middle East business aviation gateway

Proximity does not establish aircraft suitability or permission to arrive. Your operator should assess the aircraft, payload, current procedures, border clearance and available handling at the selected gateway.

Ground & helicopter transfers

The final journey

Select the published host city or your holiday destination before choosing an airport. These examples illustrate regional gateways and do not establish an event’s venue.

Can you arrive by helicopter?

Helicopter transfers are destination-specific. Only include them when an authorized provider confirms a usable landing site, permissions, payload and weather plan.

Airport slots, parking & operating constraints

Verify the actual itinerary’s permits, border requirements, airport acceptance, parking and current notices. Seasonal demand or a major final can concentrate arrivals, but no universal event-slot rule is assumed.

Track the accepted airport schedule, handling, aircraft parking and any permits separately. Ask whether the aircraft will stay or reposition, and check the current AIP, supplements and NOTAMs with the operating team. A venue ticket or FBO booking is not an air-traffic clearance.

Admission & event fees

There is no universal event fee; lodging, ski access and experiences are separately priced.

Use the official organizer’s current sales information for published ticket prices and access conditions. Where no current public tariff is verified, request a direct quote rather than relying on a guessed fee. Hospitality, invitations and ticket availability can change between editions.

Request an itemized aviation quote covering handling, parking, permits, fuel, repositioning and any event charges. Budget separately for hotels, drivers, helicopter connections and admission unless the contract explicitly includes them.

How to plan your trip

  1. Secure the right access. Confirm the actual year, venue, session and admission or invitation before fixing travel.
  2. Choose a workable arrival. Compare a primary airport and an approved alternative with the operating team, including weather, aircraft suitability and the final transfer.
  3. Reserve the aircraft stay. Obtain handling, parking and accepted arrival/departure arrangements. Record any repositioning and its cost.
  4. Connect the last mile. Book the correct vehicle, venue entrance and any authorized helicopter leg, with luggage and a ground fallback.
  5. Reconcile the itinerary. Check passenger documents, local dates, baggage, crew duty, return pickup and the contact authorized to approve changes.
