Overview
Program history
Rockwell worked with Raisbeck on a new wing using modern aerodynamic analysis. The resulting Mark Five technology improved span, fuel capacity and efficiency, and paired with TFE731 engines in the 65. This approach updated an established aircraft rather than starting again with a new fuselage, extending its usefulness for longer corporate trips.
