North American / Rockwell / Sabreliner
Sabreliner 60 family
The Sabreliner 60 stretched the earlier civilian Sabreliner to provide additional cabin space. It retained turbojet power and the family’s swept-wing character, targeting operators who needed more accommodation without moving into a much larger corporate aircraft.

Overview
Program history
Certified in 1967, the NA-265-60 developed the short-body 40 into a more useful executive transport. Later Raisbeck Mark Five work replaced the wing with a more efficient design, creating the 60A upgrade and helping extend the aircraft’s competitiveness. An original 60 and a modified 60A therefore require different performance references.
