Learjet 55B
The Learjet 55B is a later member of the larger-cabin Model 55 family. Its twin turbofans and winglet-equipped wing combine a more spacious executive cabin with the performance-oriented character of Learjet, placing it between the original 55 and the later delta-finned 55C.

Overview
Program history
The 55B continued the development of Learjet’s move into a larger cabin class. It retained the Model 55’s broad layout while incorporating a distinct approved configuration within the family. The subsequent 55C added aerodynamic changes including rear delta fins, so the B and C designations should not be treated as interchangeable when identifying an aircraft.
