Learjet 36A
The Learjet 36A is the later development of the longer-endurance Model 36. It combines the compact Learjet cabin and tip-tanked wing with turbofan engines, emphasizing fuel capacity and mission duration over the passenger accommodation of the related 35A.

Overview
Program history
The 36A carried forward Learjet’s approach of offering complementary passenger-and-range configurations from a common aircraft family. Its relationship with the 35A is therefore best understood through the cabin-and-fuel tradeoff, rather than a change to a larger airframe. Specialized mission installations can alter the cabin substantially, so individual aircraft records remain important.
