Learjet 25D
The Learjet 25D is a later development of the stretched turbojet-powered Model 25. Its extra fuselage length provides the principal cabin distinction from the Model 24, while twin rear-mounted turbojets and wingtip tanks preserve the original Learjet appearance and performance-oriented character.

Overview
Program history
The 25D followed earlier Model 25 versions and appears as a distinct approved configuration in the family type certificate. Its role remained fast executive transport in the original Learjet cabin class; later modifications and avionics retrofits mean surviving aircraft can differ substantially in equipment. Any comparison should therefore identify both the lettered model and the equipment fitted to the particular aircraft.
