Learjet 24D
The Learjet 24D is a mature development of the small-cabin Model 24. It preserves the early Learjet layout of two rear-mounted engines, a narrow executive cabin and wingtip fuel tanks, making it a distinct historical model within the wider Learjet family.

Overview
Program history
The 24D continued the Model 24’s incremental development, with its own approved configuration within the family type certificate. It occupied the compact end of the Learjet range while the stretched 25 offered more cabin length and the later turbofan-powered 35 changed the family’s propulsion approach. For an individual aircraft, engine installation, operating limitations and modifications must be matched to its approved flight manual.
