Learjet 31
The Learjet 31 combines a compact cabin with turbofan power, winglets and distinctive rear delta fins. Designed for the light business-jet market, it gives operators a performance-focused aircraft whose aerodynamic layout differs clearly from earlier tip-tanked Learjets.

Overview
Program history
The Model 31 brought winglet technology and Learjet’s delta-fin design into an entry-level business jet intended to attract operators moving up from propeller aircraft. The winglets addressed drag and efficiency, while the aft fins improved directional stability and low-speed handling. The later 31A developed this platform further while retaining its compact cabin role.
