Learjet 29
The Learjet 29 is the longer-range companion to the winglet-equipped Learjet 28. It belongs to the short-lived Longhorn-wing generation, combining the compact Learjet fuselage and turbojet engines with a different fuel-and-cabin balance from its sister model.

Overview
Program history
The Model 29 developed the Longhorn-wing concept for missions placing greater emphasis on endurance than cabin capacity. Together with the 28, it marked Learjet’s move away from tip tanks toward an aerodynamically revised wing. The program’s importance also lies in the wing-development experience carried into later Learjets, including the larger-cabin 55.
