Astra SPX
The Astra SPX is the uprated, winglet-equipped development of IAI’s Astra business jet. Stronger engines and revised avionics extended the platform’s appeal to longer and more demanding missions, while its compact cabin remained central to the design later marketed as the Gulfstream G100.

Overview
Program history
The SPX advanced beyond the Astra SP with improved engines, winglets, digital avionics and an updated interior. IAI identifies its certification milestone in 1996. The aircraft subsequently joined the Gulfstream product family as the G100, retaining the same underlying lineage before the wider-cabin G150 introduced a more substantial change to the passenger environment.
