Overview
The HondaJet Echelon is a new aircraft programme above the HA-420 family, with a planned capacity of up to eleven occupants. It targets single-pilot transcontinental capability while retaining Honda’s interest in aerodynamic efficiency and distinctive engine positioning.
Program history
The HondaJet 2600 concept led to a commercial programme and the Echelon name in 2023. Honda’s September 2026 update targets first flight in 2028 and certification with first delivery in 2031; these remain programme objectives.
