Hawker / Hawker Beechcraft
Hawker 700
The Hawker 700 is the TFE731-powered development of the stretched 125 business jet. Its rear-mounted turbofans and pressurized cabin served corporate transport, marking a major propulsion step beyond the Viper-powered 600 while preserving the established general airframe layout.

Overview
Program history
The Series 700 first flew in 1976 as the 125 program transitioned to a new turbofan installation. That change addressed the efficiency and noise characteristics of earlier engines. Subsequent 800 development combined this propulsion approach with a revised wing, nose and fuel system, continuing the family’s incremental design evolution.
