Hawker / Hawker Beechcraft
Hawker 1000
The Hawker 1000 stretches the 800-series concept into a longer-cabin, longer-range aircraft with Pratt & Whitney Canada PW305 engines. It belongs to the 125 design lineage but is a distinct development, aimed at operators requiring broader nonstop mission capability.

Overview
Program history
The 1000 first flew in 1990, combining a fuselage stretch with increased fuel capacity and a different powerplant family. The changes addressed intercontinental business travel while retaining the recognizable Hawker configuration. Its 1000A and 1000B versions reflect market certification distinctions rather than the unrelated composite Hawker 4000 design.
