Overview
The Gulfstream V combines a larger wing and BR710 engines with the long-cabin Gulfstream layout. It was designed for intercontinental missions that demanded substantially more range than the earlier Gulfstream IV generation.
Program history
First flight in 1995 led to service entry in 1997. The GV became the foundation for the later G550 and legacy GV-SP G500.
