Eclipse Aviation / Eclipse Aerospace
Eclipse 550
The Eclipse 550 modernized the Eclipse very-light-jet concept with an updated integrated flight deck and systems. It retained the compact twin-engine airframe and single-pilot mission, serving owner-pilots and small business groups whose regular trips do not require a larger cabin.

Overview
Program history
Eclipse Aerospace returned the design to new-aircraft production after acquiring the earlier programme. The 550 emphasized improved displays, avionics integration and braking, with available autothrottles. It belongs to the EA500 type-design family, while its equipment standard distinguishes it from an original Eclipse 500 or a separately upgraded used aircraft.
