Falcon 5X
The Falcon 5X was a proposed wide-cabin twinjet powered by Safran Silvercrest engines. It reached the flight-test stage but did not enter customer service. Its design work became an important predecessor to the Falcon 6X, which used a different engine installation and revised dimensions.

Overview
Program history
Dassault announced the 5X as a new large-cabin aircraft aimed at combining passenger space with long-range twinjet performance. Engine-program difficulties led to cancellation before certification. The subsequent 6X retained validated aspects of the airframe and systems approach while changing propulsion and expanding the cabin and range, so 5X targets must not be treated as delivered-aircraft capabilities.
