Dassault Aviation
Falcon 2000
The Falcon 2000 combines a wide passenger cabin with a two-engine layout. It brought the interior scale of Dassault’s larger business jets to a transcontinental twinjet, offering operators a different balance of cabin space, range and complexity from the company’s trijet aircraft.

Overview
Program history
Dassault developed the 2000 using experience from the Falcon 900, including its cabin cross-section and other established design elements. The prototype first flew in 1993. The program addressed customers who wanted a spacious cabin without the longest-range mission requirement, creating the foundation for later EX, DX, LX, S and LXS developments.
