Overview
Program history
Launched in 2022, the 960 carried the 900-series concept into digitally controlled propulsion. Its electronic engine and propeller system manages functions from startup through flight, reducing manual coordination of the powerplant. The aircraft followed the 940’s automation-focused development and supplied much of the mechanical platform used by the later 980.
