Overview
The first-generation SF50 pairs a single dorsal-mounted Williams engine with a V-tail and a flexible family-sized cabin. Its whole-airframe parachute system carries a familiar Cirrus safety concept from the company’s piston aircraft into a jet.
Program history
The Vision Jet entered service in 2016 to bridge high-performance piston flying and the light-jet market. Later G2, G2+ and G3 versions add capabilities that should not be assumed to be present on an original G1.
