Overview
Program history
Cessna developed the Mustang as a compact entry point to twin-jet ownership. Its small cabin and Garmin cockpit supported that transition. Production ended in 2017 after more than 470 deliveries, with the larger M2 continuing Cessna’s entry-level offering; the two remain distinct aircraft designs.
