Cessna · Canceled
Citation Columbus
The Citation Columbus was Cessna’s proposed move into the large-cabin, intercontinental business-jet market. Designed around a wider cabin and transatlantic missions, it would have extended the Citation range beyond the aircraft then in service. The project was cancelled before certification or customer deliveries.

Overview
Program history
Cessna launched the Columbus as a move into a larger, longer-range business-jet category. The program was subsequently suspended and cancelled during the industry downturn, before certification or customer deliveries. Its advertised performance therefore describes design objectives, not the demonstrated capability of an aircraft in operational service.
