King Air 250

The King Air 250 adds composite winglets, lighter composite propellers and revised engine induction to the 200-series platform. Those changes focus on airport performance while retaining the familiar pressurized cabin, positioning it for executive transport and adaptable utility work.

Overview

Program history

The 250 followed a survey of King Air customers who wanted better runway capability from the B200GT platform. Beechcraft applied aerodynamic and propulsion-installation improvements rather than replacing the airframe. The later King Air 260 carried this line forward with added automation and passenger-cabin refinements.
