Beechcraft
King Air 100-series: 100 / A100 / B100
The King Air 100 series expanded the earlier 90-series concept with a longer cabin for business and utility flying. The 100, A100 and B100 share the conventional-tail branch of the family, while the B100 is distinguished by Garrett rather than Pratt & Whitney Canada powerplants.

Overview
Program history
Beechcraft introduced the 100 to serve operators needing more cabin capacity than the initial King Air 90. The A100 continued development of the PT6-powered aircraft, while the B100 offered the TPE331 alternative. The subsequent T-tail 200 series became a separate, increasingly capable branch of the King Air portfolio.
