SN 600 Corvette prototype
The SN-600 was the original Corvette prototype, developed as a compact French business and liaison jet. It established the twin rear-engine, tip-tank configuration later used by the production SN-601, but had a shorter fuselage and a different tail arrangement.

Overview
Program history
Nord and Sud Aviation began the project before their merger into Aérospatiale. The prototype first flew in July 1970 as France sought a small executive jet below the larger Mystère 20. Development subsequently moved to the stretched SN-601, which added cabin space. The SN-600 remained a prototype and should not be assigned the production model’s dimensions or weight limits.
