Overview
Program history
Announced in March 2021, the AS3 extended Aerion’s ambition beyond the business-jet market. The company envisaged very fast city-pair travel and worked with NASA on research relevant to flight in the Mach 3–5 range. Aerion’s closure stopped this roadmap before an AS3 could be developed into a certified transport.
