Aerion AS2
The Aerion AS2 was a proposed supersonic business jet intended to shorten intercontinental trips for a small executive group. Its three-engine layout evolved through several design revisions. The programme ended before a prototype flew, so its published performance remained a set of development targets.

Overview
Program history
Aerion moved beyond its original twin-engine SBJ concept to a larger cabin and three-engine AS2. The company pursued manufacturing partnerships while GE developed the non-afterburning Affinity engine for the aircraft. Later aerodynamic revisions changed the wing and tail substantially. The project sought useful business-aircraft range at supersonic speed, but Aerion ceased operations before certification or production.
